I grew up in central Arkansas as the son of a pastor, and God used many people in my life to draw me to Himself. During my middle school years I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior at summer camp and was baptized. While in high school, the Lord gave me a desire to know and teach His Word, and after high school I attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in order to prepare for ministry. This was also where I met and fell in love with my wife, Anna. After getting married in 2015, we spent a year in Chicago while Anna finished her degree, and then we moved back to my hometown in Arkansas for four years. While there, we were blessed to have 3 boys- Ben, Adam, and Jordan!
In 2020 I felt God’s call to further equipping for ministry, so we moved our family to Dallas, Texas in order for me to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. Halfway through seminary, we were blessed to have our daughter, Sage! While in Dallas, the Lord opened up opportunities of fruitful ministry for us: I led a weekly sports outreach at our church, and we hosted a weekly small group Bible study in our home. After graduating in May, 2024, we started searching for full-time ministry positions, and God worked out all of the details for our family to move to Beloit and serve BFCC.
In my free time I enjoy playing sports with my kids (especially soccer), watching sports, and reading books. I love the mission of BFCC to make and grow disciples because it aligns with my life goals of becoming more and more like Christ and helping others to do the same. Jesus is worth following, and it is a joy to come alongside others and show them His love for them!
